    Description

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Platform Management & Maintenance: Manage and maintain the SharePoint platform by configuring solutions, managing permissions, creating workflows and forms. Troubleshoot any issues with the platform and stay updated with the latest releases and features of SharePoint to ensure it meets organizational needs for collaboration and content management.
    • Environment Deployment: Lead the configuration and deployment of SharePoint environments, including SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server.
    • Customization: Customize SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and workflows to meet specific business requirements and user needs.
    • Version Management: Update/Upgrade SharePoint versions as requested by the client.
    • Security & Compliance: Maintain the Security Posture and ensure compliance with Microsoft and Client compliance controls.
    • Health Checks & Automation: Perform regular Health checks and enable automation of flows.
    • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define solutions, and implement SharePoint solutions that align with business objectives.
    • Maintenance Tasks: Perform regular maintenance tasks, including patching, updates, and backups, to ensure the optimal functioning of SharePoint environments.
    • Governance & Best Practices: Develop and maintain SharePoint governance policies, best practices, and standards to ensure the security and compliance of SharePoint environments.
    • Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in SharePoint technologies, recommending and implementing improvements as appropriate.
    • Subject Matter Expert (SME): Act as a subject matter expert on SharePoint administration, providing guidance and support to internal teams and clients.
    • Ad-hoc Responsibilities: Perform other responsibilities as required by higher levels of supervision.

    Required Skills:

    • Strong proficiency in SharePoint administration, configuration, and support.
    • Ability to manage and maintain the SharePoint platform, including permissions, workflows, and forms.
    • Expertise in configuring and deploying SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server.
    • Skills in customizing SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and workflows.
    • Capability to update/upgrade SharePoint versions.
    • Understanding of Security Posture maintenance and compliance with Microsoft and Client controls.
    • Ability to perform regular Health checks and enable automation.
    • Strong collaboration skills to gather requirements and define solutions.
    • Proficiency in regular maintenance tasks (patching, updates, backups).
    • Ability to develop and maintain SharePoint governance policies, best practices, and standards.
    • A commitment to staying updated on industry trends and recommending improvements.
    • Strong communication skills to act as a subject matter expert.
