    Senior Manager of Content Marketing – IT By Design

    We are looking for a Senior Manager of Content Marketing to join our team and enrich our marketing operations including demand generation, sales enablement, communications, social media, digital marketing, email marketing, and brand development.

    Our ideal candidate has experience leading a team of highly creative people to produce superior creative content that is valuable, relevant, and consistent, to support our marketing and thought leadership strategies. Our ideal candidate has experience with managing tight deadlines and changing priorities.

    Role Responsibilities

    • Content Strategy Development: You would be responsible for developing a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the company's overall marketing objectives. This involves understanding the target audience, conducting market research, and identifying content themes and formats that resonate with them.
    • Content Audit & Research: Audit the existing content on the company's website for brand voice, relevance, and optimization. Research competitors to find content gaps and keyword gaps that ITBD hasn't yet covered.
    • Content Creation and Curation: Overseeing the creation and curation of high-quality content across various channels such as blogs, social media, email newsletters, videos, podcasts, whitepapers, and more. This may involve working with in-house content creators, freelance writers, designers, and agencies to produce engaging content. Edit, proofread and improve writers' posts.
    • Content Calendar Management: Creating and managing a content calendar to ensure a consistent publishing schedule that aligns with the content strategy. This includes planning content themes, topics, and publication dates while coordinating with other departments to ensure timely execution. Promote a consistent brand identity through the company's social media profiles.
    • Content Performance Analysis: Monitoring and analyzing the performance of content initiatives using metrics such as website traffic, engagement metrics, conversion rates, and ROI. This data-driven approach helps optimize content strategies and identify areas for improvement.
    • Team Leadership and Collaboration: Leading and mentoring a team of content creators, strategists, and marketers to execute the content strategy effectively. Collaboration with other departments such as marketing, sales, product, and customer support is also crucial to ensure alignment and coherence across all marketing efforts.
    • Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Keeping abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in content marketing to continually innovate and stay ahead of the competition.

    Overall, as a senior manager of content marketing, your role is multifaceted and requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, leadership, and analytical skills to drive the success of content marketing initiatives and contribute to the overall growth of the business.

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, design, or related field
    • 7 years of relevant experience. Experience in progressively senior roles within content marketing is highly valued.
    • Experience in creating integrated content across all marketing channels: digital, social media, paid media, mobile, offline, and print .
    • Experience in creating marketing/advertising campaigns — from developing the vision and messaging platform to overseeing production on time and within budget.
    • Understanding of content marketing tactics, such as SEO, digital advertising and social media marketing.
    • Experience as a copywriter, graphic designer, or production artist.
    • Experience in project management, with a focus on creative direction.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse creative team members .
