Your RoleAs an Optimizely Developer, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and optimizing digital experiences on the Optimizely (formerly Episerver) platform.
You will work closely with Product, UX, Marketing, and Engineering teams to build scalable content management solutions, personalization features, and high-performance websites.
You will own the technical implementation of Optimizely CMS and/or Optimizely DXP, ensuring best practices, clean architecture, and seamless integrations.
In this role you will play a key role in:- Optimizely CMS/DXP Development
Build custom content types, blocks, templates, and Razor-based views.
Implement Optimizely DXP capabilities including content delivery, publishing workflows, and personalization.
- Front-End Development & UI Integration
Implement front-end components using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, or Vue (depending on project requirements).
Optimize page performance, load speed, and overall user experience.
- Backend Engineering & Integration
Integrate thirdparty systems such as CRMs, eCommerce platforms, analytics, and email tools.
Build and maintain REST APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and middleware layers.
- Content Operations & Personalization
Configure and optimize Optimizely Search & Navigation (formerly Find).
Implement experimentation, A/B testing, and personalization rules.
- Deployment, QA & Governance
Perform code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Maintain documentation, adhere to coding standards, and ensure platform security best practices.
Your Profile
37 years of experience developing enterprise websites on Optimizely (Episerver) CMS or DXP.
Strong expertise in C#, .NET / .NET Core, MVC architecture, and Optimizely APIs.
Solid understanding of web application architecture, front-end development, and cloud hosting principles.
Experience in integrating external systems, working with REST APIs, and managing structured content.
Strong problemsolving ability, detail orientation, and ability to work with crossfunctional teams.

Content models, templates, blocks, workflows, personalization, and DXP cloud environments.
C#, .NET & Server-Side Development
API development, business logic, middleware creation, and integration components.
Front-End Technologies
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, React/Vue; rendering UI using Razor views.
Search & Navigation / Episerver Find
Querying, indexing, filtering, boosting, and optimizing search-driven content experiences.
Integrations & Deployment Expertise
REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, and Optimizely environment management.
