    About the role

    The HR Systems Analyst (Analyst), reporting to and under the direct supervision of the Lead Operations & HRIS Analyst, is responsible for designing, configuration, development, testing, and execution of functionality required to support Luminar's Human Resource organization. The role works directly in Workday, Workday required integrations, and in report writing systems including Workday, databases, and PowerBI.

    Responsibilities

    ● Perform system configuration to design, build, optimize and continuously improve Workday tenant.

    ● Increase data integrity by analyzing metrics, building dashboards, conducting audits to identify issues, providing root cause resolutions.

    ● Provide day to day support to the Human Resources team by providing reports, answering system or data related questions, and recommending new functionality to improve productivity and accuracy of HR work.

    ● Supports partners with Workday and periphery systems that depend on Workday data. Coordinates with IT Workday partners for integration requirements and maintenance

    ● Perform ongoing maintenance and support on business systems and applications including software installations, upgrades, compliance updates, program coding, maintenance, backing-up data and administering security/access protocols.

    ● Perform general application configuration, deployment, and data maintenance, including security configuration and product functionality review to ensure systems and applications are working efficiently and effectively.

    ● Define system requirements for new and/or updated functionality and configuration.

    ● Identify, design, and develop tools and technology needed to baseline, track, and report out on HR measures and metrics.

    ● Perform and provide guidance on system testing on behalf of the business users and work with users to establish comprehensive training and deployment plans.

    ● Support the communication with adjacent technology teams regarding integrations of the business systems and applications into all business processes and vendors.

    ● Provide functional expertise and knowledge of the existing business practices as well as reconciling those requirements to new system capabilities and scope.

    ● Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    ● Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems/Computer Science, Accounting or related field, plus 3 years of relevant experience;

    ● OR 6 years' experience with Workday;

    ● OR 6 years' experience working with data including advanced PowerBI skills;

    ● OR a combination of Workday and PowerBI skills with at least 3 years' experience using both.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    ● Global HCM experiences; preferably in Workday

    ● Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.

    ● Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

    ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    ● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

    ● Minimum of 8 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.

    ● Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
