Asan SAP SD functional consultant this is what you ll typically do tosupport SAP S/4 Hana upgrades: Collaboratewith key stakeholders to understand their business needs andtranslate these into detailed functional requirements for SAPSD.

Assess the impact of upgrading to SAPS/4 HANA on existing business processes andsystems. Design solutions that align withthe organizations processes and SAP S/4 HANAcapabilities. Configure the SAP systemaccording to the designed solutions ensuring compatibility with S/4HANA s enhanced features. Evaluate the needfor customizations in the S/4 HANA environment and develop them asnecessary. Ensure seamless integration ofthe upgraded module with other SAP modules and externalsystems. Plan and execute data migrationfrom the current SAP system to S/4 HANA ensuring data integrity andminimal downtime. Manage data cleansingmapping and validation activities. Conductcomprehensive testing (unit integration and user acceptance tests)to ensure the upgrade meets business requirements and functionscorrectly. Identify document and resolve anyissues or defects that arise during testing.
Develop and deliver training to endusers on new functionalities andchanges brought by the S/4 HANA upgrade.
Provide ongoing support postimplementation includingtroubleshooting and performanceoptimization. Assist in change managementactivities to facilitate a smooth transition to the newsystem. Communicate effectively with alllevels of the organization to ensure understanding and adoption ofthe new system. Prepare detaileddocumentation of the solution design configuration customdevelopment and any operational procedures related to theupgrade. Maintain records of issues andresolutions for future reference and continuouslearning. Collaborate with the projectmanagement team to ensure timely delivery of the upgradeproject. Monitor project progress and reporton status to stakeholders. Ensure thesolution adheres to SAP best practices and compliancestandards. Stay updated with SAP S/4 HANAdevelopments and industry trends to recommend ongoingimprovements.
Jobrequirements Proven experience as an SAP SDfunctional consultant ideally with a focus on implementing andupgrading to SAP S/4 HANA. Experience inendtoend SAP project lifecycle from planning and implementation tosupport. Prior experience in data migrationprojects especially related to SAP upgrades.
SAP certification in relevant modules (such as SD) is highlydesirable. Indepth knowledge of specific SAPSD and their integration with other modules.
Familiarity with SAP S/4 HANA s capabilities and differences fromSAP ECC. Strong skills in SAP configurationcustomization and problemsolving. Ability toanalyze business processes and translate them into SAPsolutions. Competency in designing andoptimizing SAP workflows to align with businessprocesses. Experience in developing andconducting SAP training for endusers.
Ability to provide postimplementation support includingtroubleshooting and addressing user queries.
Experience in change management ensuring smooth transition duringSAP upgrades. Ability to manage userexpectations and mitigate resistance tochange. Knowledge of industry best practicesand compliance standards in SAPimplementations. Commitment to stayingupdated with the latest SAP developments andtrends. Strong analytical and problemsolvingabilities. Resilience and adaptability in afastpaced and changing environment. Goodcommunication skills (written and verbal) proven team playerrolling up the sleeves and getting involved in the nittygritty. Bachelor s or Master s degree infrom a top university. Able to work withinthe GMT8 timezone
