    The Role

    Are you passionate about security architecture and driven to protect against the latest threats? We are seeking a Security Architect who will join our team and take the lead on developing, implementing, and maintaining our security strategy within our Service Provider organization.

    As our Security Architect, you will work closely with our leadership team to design and implement effective security solutions that not only protect our business objectives and regulatory requirements, but also provide innovative solutions to stay ahead of emerging threats.

  • Human & System authentication/authorization, Adaptive authentication/authorization, Identity Lifecycle Management & Governance, Interdomain Trust, Privileged Access Management, Directory Services, Identity's role in Zero Trust Architectures, Roles & Entitlements management, Cloud/SaaS IAM, Mainframe IAM, Secrets Management;
  • Ability to shape Security solutions for Group wide consumption through sound design & architectural expertise and foresight. eg: what,why and how;
  • Appreciates complex solutions and technology landscapes, balancing trade-offs between business, technical and security drivers; Awareness of the Product/Vendor market with the ability to execute on industry trends and good practices.

    • KeyAccountabilities:

  • Providing Security Architecture consultancy style subject matter expertise to enable the Business and Project teams understand impacts from proposed system changes. Includes handing difficult conversations and influencing colleagues in realizing the need for security;
  • Delivering the conceptual and logical security design abstractions to identify threats and vulnerabilities as part of the solution Security Architecture;
  • Analyzing systems, applications and system components to identify risks and propose mitigating security controls and countermeasures;
  • Supporting the implementation team to identify & execute on solution hardening and secure configurations;
  • Manage significant architectural decisions involving senior management, sponsors and projects to ensure secure outcomes and appropriate governance practices are adhered to, including notifications to Technology Architecture Forums;
  • Leveraging and updating existing control reference patterns and developing new design artefacts to outline integration approaches, use-cases, re-use, and technical reference for Enterprise security capabilities;
  • Proactively managing risk and assurance requirements when supporting designs that introduces material change to risk profiles. Ensures Projects' consideration of risk appetite and

    • regulatory compliance obligations;

  • Coaching and mentoring others in the practical application of security and risk management concepts, principles and strategies, and relevant industry standards. Support developing

    • specific skills of others and provide knowledge to enhance the person's professional and personal growth.

    QualificationRequirements

    DegreeinComputer Science/informationsystemsor equivalenttechnicalqualificationSecurityCertifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSPetc) wouldbebeneficial

    Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

    •Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP

    •Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
