    Job Description:

    As a Purchase Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the procurement process to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services required by the company. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to meet the company's procurement needs while adhering to quality standards, budgetary constraints, and regulatory requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement procurement strategies and plans to meet the company's operational and financial objectives.
    • Source and evaluate potential suppliers/vendors based on quality, price, delivery, and other relevant criteria.
    • Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and contractual agreements.
    • Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns related to quality, delivery, or service levels.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as finance, operations, and product development teams, to understand their procurement needs and priorities.
    • Manage inventory levels to optimize stock availability while minimizing carrying costs and obsolescence.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
    • Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes affecting procurement practices.
    • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions and ensure business continuity.
    • Drive cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing, negotiation, and supplier optimization.

    Qualification:

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
    • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence and persuade others.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
