- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions
- Configure and customize CMDB classes, CI relationships, identification & reconciliation rules.
- Implement and maintain ServiceNow Discovery, MID Servers, and credential management.
- Develop and customize ServiceNow applications using:
- Business Rules
- Script Includes
- Client Scripts
- UI Policies
- Flow Designer
- IntegrationHub
- Troubleshoot Discovery issues including:
- Network discovery
- Server discovery (Windows, Linux, Unix)
- Cloud discovery (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Ensure CMDB data quality through:
- Data normalization
- Reconciliation rules
- Duplicate CI management
- Data certification processes
- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party tools (monitoring, asset management, cloud platforms).
- Work with stakeholders to define CMDB data model and governance framework.
- Perform upgrades and patching activities.
- Maintain documentation and follow best practices.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
- Strong knowledge of:
- CMDB architecture and data model
- Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE)
- Service Mapping
- MID Server configuration
- Experience implementing and troubleshooting ServiceNow Discovery.
- Proficiency in:
- JavaScript
- Glide APIs
- REST/SOAP integrations
- Experience with:
- ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change)
- Asset Management
- Good understanding of ITIL processes.
- Experience with performance optimization and instance management.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Certified Implementation Specialist – Discovery / CMDB
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience in Service Mapping and Event Management
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills
