    Description

    Facilities Management Specialist Role

    We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Management Specialist to join our team at Bazaar-Style-Retail-Ltd.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Supervise multi-disciplinary teams of staff including cleaning, electrical, maintenance and security personnel to ensure efficient operations.
    • Maintain and repair electrical equipment, adhering to schedules for regular checks (CM, PM) and ensuring timely completion of high-priority tasks (HOTO).
    • Identify and address snag lists, collaborating with external partners (EPC) to resolve issues promptly.
    • Implement and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, ensuring timely completion of audit observations and addressing any non-compliance points.
    • Develop and execute facility management strategies, policies, and procedures to maintain and improve physical facilities, including retail stores, distribution centers, and corporate offices.
    • Plan, coordinate, and oversee facility-related projects, such as renovations, relocations, and new store openings, to minimize disruption and ensure seamless operations.
    • Ensure compliance with regulations regarding diesel generators (DG), voltage transformers (VT), and waste oil management within respective clusters.
    • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers for facility-related services and projects, negotiating and managing contracts to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and terms and conditions.
    • Promote cost-effectiveness by effectively managing budgets and overseeing vendor relationships, conducting regular reviews of performance and addressing any issues promptly.

    Key Skills and Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in facilities management, with expertise in maintenance, repairs, and improvements of physical facilities.
    • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, with the ability to implement and enforce HSE policies.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
    • Ability to plan, coordinate, and oversee complex facility-related projects, minimizing disruption and ensuring seamless operations.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address snag lists and other operational challenges.
