1. Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST API, CI/CD
2. Certifications and demonstrated in-depth knowledge of Java
3. Quarkus framework and microservices knowledge is good to have
4. Strong Java and IT skills such as Service Oriented Architecture/ Web services - REST Markup Language like XML and JSON experience with JIRA, SonarQube, Fortify, Jenkins and GIT
5. Familiar with the latest open-source development in your area of expertise
6. Familiar with Cloud development, preferably Azure.
7. Ability to communicate clearly with both business and technical stakeholders to articulate technical issues, present options and recommend solutions
8. Driving the quality and performance of our code
9. Architectural understanding, ability to learn new technical concepts fast
10. Skills to grow the Java development community
11. Highly desirable: Knowledge of agile methods and processes
