About the Role:
The candidate is expected to take technical ownership of multiple mission-critical modelling domains in our telematics group.

This is a vital hire for the company as Motive leads its competitors in telematics quality and AI, and the candidate would have a front-row seat in defining and building the machine learning algorithms to keep us at this forefront.

Responsibilities:
Work closely with Product Insurance to build, improve and implement data ETLs and analysisApply statistical and machine learning techniques on large datasetsEvaluate the utility of non-traditional data sourcesQualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field, e.g. Computer Science, Math, Economics, or Statistics4+ years experience in data science, machine learning, and data analysisExpertise in applied probability and statisticsDeep understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithmsEnd-to-end deployment data-driven model deployment experienceExpertise in data-oriented programming (e.g. SQL) and statistical programming (e.g., Python, R).
