Wipro is currently hiring for Java Developer – Production Support

Location: Mumbai

NP-preferably Immediate Joiners, 0-45 days (90 days notice period please donot apply)

Job Purpose: Java Developers will form part of the production supprt team that will be responsible for delivering information solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining Java-based components and interfaces in the Finastra Trade Innovation / Finastra Corporate Channel products

Key Areas of Responsibility

•
• Design, develop and implement web-based Java applications to support business

requirements

•
• Follow approved software life-cycle methodologies and perform program coding and unit

testing

•
• Resolve technical issues through debugging, research and investigation

Essential Skills

· Java Technologies: Struts/Spring, Hibernate, Web services, REST Services, MQ, Servlets,

JSP, J2EE

Front end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, (jQuery/Bootstrap/Angular)

Database: Oracle / DB2

Application servers: Websphere / Weblogic / JBoss / Tomcat

• Verbal and written communication skills required for effective teamwork

· Software debugging skills.

• Experience in working in an agile environment.
• Knowledge of Internet banking products is valuable.
• Finastra Trade Innovation and Fusion Corporate channel work experience is a great value add.
• Knowledge of Internet banking products is valuable.

Job description:

• Monitoring and Understanding ticket / issues / cases raised with the product.
• Analyze the errors and identify root cause and fix the issue.
• Providing break fix / corrective and emergency support
• Providing technical support to end users.
• Conducting unit testing using automated unit test frameworks.
• Identifying risk and conducting mitigation action planning.
• Using coding standards and best practices to ensure quality.

Qualification : BE/ B.Tech (IT/ECE/CS), MCA, M.Sc (CS/IT)
