    Job Description:

    We are seeking an Automation Engineer specializing in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to join our team. This role will involve designing, developing, and implementing innovative automation solutions using PLCs to support our cutting-edge projects and drive technological advancements in our R&D efforts.

    Responsibilities:


    • Collaborate with R&D teams to develop PLC-based automation solutions for experimental setups and prototypes.


    • Design and implement custom PLC programs for precise control and monitoring of experimental processes and equipment.


    • Develop HMI interfaces for real-time visualization and control of experimental parameters and data acquisition.


    • Conduct rigorous testing to ensure compatibility with diverse setups and adherence to project specifications.


    • Provide technical support to R&D teams throughout the automation project lifecycle.


    • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation.


    • Document automation designs and contribute to the development of SOPs for automation systems in the R&D environment.

    Experience: 1-2 Years

    Desired Technical Skills:


    • Proficiency in PLC programming languages such as ladder logic, function block diagram (FBD), and structured text, with a strong emphasis on customizability and adaptability.


    • Extensive experience with industrial automation systems, PLC hardware, and HMI software in an R&D setting.


    • In-depth knowledge of advanced PLC platforms such as Siemens TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley Studio 5000, and Beckhoff TwinCAT.


    • Familiarity with SCADA systems, data acquisition protocols, and real-time control interfaces for experimental setups.


    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex automation issues and optimize system performance.


    • Experience with software development tools, version control systems, and integration of automation solutions with other R&D software platforms.

    Qualification:

    BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MS (Robotics & Automation/Mechatronics/EE/ECE/CS/EI) (or) previous experience in the field of Mechatronics.

    Selected candidates will be given an internship opportunity with a stipend for 3/6 months and based on their performance, an employment offer will be made.
