    Position Description : GCP Data Engineer

    We are looking for a talented and seasoned Data Engineer to become a valuable member of our dynamic team. As a Data Engineer, your expertise will be crucial in designing and executing our DE strategy. You will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and Data Engineering teams to create and enhance complete pipelines and frameworks.

    Skills Required:

    Experience in working in an implementation team from concept to operations, providing deep technical subject matter expertise for successful deployment. Implement methods for automation of all parts of the pipeline to minimize labor in development and production - Experience in analyzing complex data, organizing raw data and integrating massive datasets from multiple data sources to build subject areas and reusable data products - Experience in working with architects to evaluate and productionalize appropriate GCP tools for data ingestion, integration, presentation, and reporting - Experience in working with all stakeholders to formulate business problems as technical data requirement, identify and implement technical solutions while ensuring key business drivers are captured in collaboration with product management - Proficient in Machine Learning model architecture, data pipeline interaction and metrics interpretation.

    Skills Preferred:


    • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Understanding of model explainability and interpretability techniques, ensuring transparency and trustworthiness of machine learning models.
    • Possess knowledge of security and privacy considerations in machine learning systems, encompassing aspects such as data encryption, access controls, and adherence to regulations like GDPR or HIPAA.
    • Proficiency in GCP services and familiarity with automated machine learning (AutoML) frameworks and tools, facilitating rapid model experimentation and selection

    Experience Required:


    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • 3+ years of experience as an MLOps Engineer or similar role, with a focus on deploying and managing machine learning models in production environments.
    • 3+ Experience with data engineering and data management, including data pipelines, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
    • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
    • Solid understanding of software engineering principles, CI/CD practices, and infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Proficiency in version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
