Job Role :-

• Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Battery Design Engineer

Job Responsibility :-

• Understand electrical architecture of HEV/EV
• Conceptualization, Layout, Design and Development of HEV/EV Lithium-Ion Battery pack
• Specification Determination, Testing and Evaluation of components and sub system
• Cost Weight Optimization through VA/VE and Benchmarking
• Coordination with other design departments/ suppliers related agencies for design and development Activities

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS :-

Technical/Functional :-

• Ability to work on DMU /3D Modeling/2D Drawing
• Ability to work on UNIGRAPHICS (desirable)
• Working experience of Lithium-Ion battery pack design, child part development and testing
• Knowledge of design, safety and test standards of Lithium-Ion battery
• Knowledge of types of cells/modules, chemistry, electrical characteristics, battery packs architectures etc.
• Experience in testing at battery pack level and vehicle level testing
• Exposure to Hybrid/Electric Powertrain Control Design, development, verification and validation. Familiarity with on board diagnostics.
• Knowledge of HEV/EV Regulations such as AIS 038 other relevant regulations

Educational Qualification:

• Must Have- B.E./BTech in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Desirable - M.E./MTech in Design/Manufacturing Engineering with project work related to Electric Vehicle / Hybrid Electric Vehicle systems
• Minimum 60 % marks
