    The Role

    To support the design and service of the entire electrical installation throughout all engineering phases with drawing and documentation work.

    Exploring and implementing new ways to automate systems and research and development.

    Engineering

    Designing and testing automation equipment and processes.

    Programming new automation components.

    Identifying quality issues and writing reports.

    Eliminating defects and errors with product and software development.

    Collaborating with other business units.

    Review electrical engineering drawings.

    Design electrical systems.

    Create electrical installation details, one-line diagrams, panel layouts, cable and consumer lists under the supervision of a technical lead.

    Retrieve information to complete drawing, layout and design including technical specifications.

    Check standard and regulatory compliance.

    Production

    Supervising the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.

    Liaising with other engineers to develop plans that improve production, costs, and labor required.

    Diagnosing problems in the production line and providing recommendations and training.

    Establishing safety procedures and protocols that take the workers' well-being into account, and that also minimize the carbon footprint.

    Keeping abreast of advancements in engineering and production, and sharing knowledge with co-workers.

    Identifying, documenting, and reporting unsafe practices.

    Drawing up production schedules and budgets for projects.

    Scheduling meetings with relevant departments and stakeholders.

    Analyzing all facets of production and making recommendations for improvement.

    Obtaining any materials and equipment required.

    Service

    Resolve filed technical issues related to electrical.

    Train production and service team.

    Update service team with relevant technical and product related information.

    Monitor customer complaints and track performance of electrical instruments.

    Online support to access the PLC to reduce the machine ideal time.

    What we expect of you?

  • Diploma / Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in Electrical and Electronics, industrial automation, Electrical designing and service field.
  • Technical expertise, combining mechanical and electrical components.
  • Technical and application knowledge: ability to constantly learn and develop.
  • Aspiration to keep up to date with latest technology developments.
  • Be confident to be an important face to the customer and be strongly service minded.
  • Service oriented and proactive communication skills.
