    Role Overview

    As our Performance Marketer, you will be central to the growth engine—responsible for end-to-end planning, execution and optimisation of paid and performance campaigns to acquire customers (consumers, restaurants, riders), optimise conversion funnels, and deliver measurable growth.

    You will work closely with growth, product, analytics and creative teams to drive ROI positive campaigns, scale acquisition channels, and influence our marketing roadmap.

    Key Responsibilities

    Develop and execute comprehensive performance marketing strategies across paid digital channels (Google Ads, Meta/Facebook/Instagram, YouTube, programmatic display, affiliate, referrals) to drive user-acquisition (consumers, delivery partners, restaurants).

    Define, monitor and own key metrics: Cost per Acquisition (CPA), Life Time Value (LTV), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), conversion rates, retention rates, channel economics.


    Conduct experimentation:

    A/B tests, creative tests, landing page optimisation, bid strategy tests, ad copy and audience segmentation to improve funnel performance.

    Collaborate with analytics and BI to build dashboards, perform cohort analyses, understand user behaviour, segment audiences, and provide actionable insights.

    Work with product/UX teams to optimise onboarding flows (for users, riders, restaurants), reduce drop-offs, and improve activation/engagement.
    Manage budgets across channels, allocate spend dynamically based on performance, and forecast future spend requirements.
    Scale winning channels while continuously pruning under-performing ones; identify new acquisition channels and growth levers.

    Coordinate with creative and content teams to ensure ad creative, landing pages and messaging are aligned with brand and conversion objectives.

    Monitor competitive landscape, digital marketing trends and benchmarks; adapt strategies to local markets and city-level nuances.

    Build strong operational processes:
    campaign setup, tracking implementation (UTM tags, tracking pixels, SDK integrations), attribution modelling, and ensure data accuracy.

    Drive cross-functional collaboration: marketing, product, operations, finance to align on growth goals, and ensure smooth implementation and tracking of campaigns.

    Provide regular reporting to senior leadership: campaign performance, growth metrics, channel ROI, insights and recommendations.

    Required Qualifications & Skills

    6-8+ years of experience in performance marketing / growth marketing / paid acquisition, ideally within consumer-internet, app-based business, platform or food delivery / on-demand-economy domain.

    Strong track-record of planning, executing and optimising digital acquisition campaigns with measurable KPI improvements.
    Hands-on experience with Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube), Meta Ads, programmatic display, affiliate/partner acquisition, mobile-app marketing tools (preferred).

    Comfortable with data and analytics:
    ability to slice data, build dashboards, run cohort / funnel analyses, derive actionable recommendations.

    Familiarity with mobile app marketing:
    tracking installs, activations, in-app engagement, retention, and LTV modelling.
    Solid budget management skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions about scaling channels and spend.
    Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate performance to non-marketing stakeholders and senior leadership.
    Strong problem-solving mindset, experimentation mindset, proactive and outcomes-oriented.
    Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup or high-growth environment, with changes in priorities and high ambiguity.
    Bachelor's degree (Marketing, Business, Analytics or related); advanced certifications (Google, Meta) or MBA is a plus.

    Preferred Qualities
    Prior experience in food-delivery, hyper-local, marketplace or gig economy businesses.
    Experience in Indian digital marketing ecosystem, regional city-level growth, multi-city rollout.
    Knowledge of lifecycle marketing (onboarding, retention, re-engagement), referral / incentive / loyalty programmes.
    Experience working with internal product/engineering teams on tracking implementation, event attribution, mobile SDKs.
    Ability to lead a small team or external agency partnerships, and mentor junior marketers.
