    Description

    Overview:

    The SAP ABAP(Advanced Business Application Programming) role is vital to ourorganization as it involves designing developing and customizingSAP applications. The incumbent will play a key role in thetechnical implementation and integration of SAP solutions ensuringthat they align with business requirements and enhance overalloperational efficiency.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Develop andmaintain ABAP programs to support various SAPmodules.
    • Collaborate with functional teams tounderstand business requirements and translate them into technicaldesigns.
    • Customize and optimize existing SAPapplications using ABAP programming.
    • Utilizedebugging skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues in SAPsystems.
    • Design and maintain Data Dictionaryobjects such as tables views and dataelements.
    • Participate in performance tuningactivities to optimize systemperformance.
    • Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams to ensure seamless integration of SAPmodules.
    • Create and maintain technicaldocumentation for SAP ABAPdevelopments.
    • Provide technical expertise andsupport for SAP upgrades and enhancement packimplementations.
    • Assist in testing deploymentand postimplementation support of SAPsolutions.

    RequiredQualifications:

    • Bachelors degree inComputer Science Information Technology or relatedfield.
    • 5 years of handson experience in SAPABAP development.
    • Strong understanding of SAPmodules and their integration withABAP.
    • Proficiency in ABAP programming includingreports interfaces conversions enhancements and forms(RICEF).
    • Experience with debugging tools andtechniques in SAP environments.
    • Indepthknowledge of Data Dictionary objects and their usage in SAPdevelopment.
    • Ability to optimize and enhancethe performance of SAP applications throughABAP.
    • Good understanding of SAP systemarchitecture and infrastructure.
    • Excellentproblemsolving and analytical abilities.
    • Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectivelywith crossfunctional teams.
    • Experience with SAPupgrades and enhancement pack implementations is aplus.
    • Certification in SAP ABAP development isdesirable.
