VAVE Lead Engineer

Experience: 10-15 yrs

Job Location: Pune

Technical skill:

• Strong aptitude and experience in Industrial Heavy Machinery, Commercial vehicles & EV domain.
• Strong aptitude in Mechanical Design, Engineering materials & Manufacturing processes.
• Hands on experience in design & development, 3D modelling (any software).
• Strong Experience in areas of Vehicle Integration / Chassis / BIW for passenger vehicles.
• Hands on experience in VAVE & Cost down projects.
• Able to provide alternate solutions driving cost reduction, weight optimization & overall value enhancements of the component / assembly.
• Able to provide Strong technical rationale for VAVE solutions.
• Able to assess the product development life cycle for validity of VAVE proposals.
• Should understand part cost & its break up in form of material & manufacturing processes.

Leadership:

• Lead the RFQ response process for new customer enquiries.
• Lead the Technical discuss ions with Customer for solution building
• Build a core team through mentoring and coaching.
• Motivate the team to meet commitments to the established timing.
• Resolve conflicts between team members, departments and the customer.
• Use ability to identify root cause of a problem, develop corrective action and lead team to resolution.
• Be Proactive in approach to meet the timelines.
• Effective communication with internal and Customer teams.
• Work closely with cross functional and customer teams.

Educational Background:

• BE/B Tech/ ME/M Tech with 10-15 years of work exp. in Component Design & development in IHM/Automotive/EV domain.
• Past experience in leading and executing VAVE projects.
