Responsibilities:

Design at Runaway Bicycle begins with the fabric. You will help the design team in the engagement with our weaver community aimed at innovations, development of fabrics already in use. Help in developing illustrations of specific styles and techniques for textile printing. Keeping check on time, deadlines, file organisation and documentation.

Candidate must have:

A good understanding and experience of colour, textures, craft and experience of using different textile processes and techniques. Understanding and experience of using different textile processes and techniques. Experience in understanding styles and illustration techniques both digital and physical Excellent organisational and planning skills Excellent verbal and written communication and attention to detail Abilities to work with design softwares is a non-negotiable. Understanding of block print, screen, dabu and other crafts is a must. Should be motivated and eager to develop a good sensibility of design and textiles in general.
