Location: Hyderabad

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety policies and protocols that comply with both SEZ and non-SEZ regulations.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and devise preventative measures.
• Lead safety training sessions to promote a culture of safety among site
• Ensure ongoing compliance with all safety procedures and enforce necessary safety regulations.
• Investigate and report on incidents, maintaining detailed records for worker's compensation claims and preventive measures.
• Analyze safety practices and data, reporting on safety performance and recommending improvements.
• Stay updated with latest safety regulations and potential hazards in the industry.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety officer role.
• Strong knowledge of safety norms and regulations, including specific requirements for SEZ and non-SEZ zones.
• Proven ability to write and implement safety protocols and effective training programs.
• Experience with safety management information systems; proficiency in MS Office.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in safety management, engineering, or a relevant field.
• Certifications in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH) are highly desirable.
