Description

As a Test automation Lead , he or she needs to understand the user stories and automate the test cases as per client framework to meet the sprint goals and ensure the right features are delivered on time.

• Analyse the user stories and test cases, estimate the effort required to complete the test automation tasks as per sprint requirements
• Perform the test activities as per Agile /scrum methodology
• Detailed script review for self and peers, provide necessary feedback
• Perform the test reporting and highlight risks on time,
• Use Jira to updates on the work progress and also use it for RCA and other tracking
• Defect reporting and defect lifecycle management
• Should have worked in Retail domain and handled back office testing to appreciate the complexities
• Working experience with aLS, Omni POS, RFID systems , retail systems
• Ensure standard processes / guidelines and best practices are adopted
• Ensure zero escalations from the customer on the work accomplishment
• Proven track record of solving problems & determine the best solution
• Active listening techniques to understand issues, requirements and situations
• Well versed with software testing lifecycle.

• Ability to analyze and automate test steps
• Strong knowledge on Java. Selenium, BDD, Cucumber and serenity framework
• Knowledge of software testing tools such Jira, Xray & Confluence, GIT, Gradle, CI/CD
• Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently
• Test reporting and ability to highlight risks on time with test progress generated.'
