    Description

    Overview:

    We are seeking a talented Unity Developer with specialised experience in Virtual Reality (VR) to contribute to the development of our XR SDK.

    The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of VR interaction paradigms and be proficient in implementing them within Unity using OpenXR and other interaction toolkits.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Enhance SDK Functionality: Work on the Unity plugin aspect of the SDK, focusing on capturing and logging user actions and interactions within the VR simulations.


    Optimise Performance:

    Ensure that the data capture is optimised for performance, maintaining high frame rates and responsiveness, especially in complex scenes.


    Collaboration and Integration:
    Work closely with the web development team to ensure seamless integration of Unity-based data with the web dashboard.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:
    Proficient in

    Unity Development:
    Strong experience in developing VR applications using Unity.

    Expertise in VR and OpenXR:
    In-depth knowledge of Virtual Reality principles and extensive experience with OpenXR and VR interaction toolkits.

    C# Programming Skills:
    Demonstrated proficiency in C# programming within the context of Unity development.

    Understanding of VR Hardware:

    Familiarity with various VR headsets and platforms, and the ability to develop applications that are compatible across these systems.


    Problem-Solving and Optimization:
    Ability to address technical challenges and optimise VR applications for performance and user experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Experience in developing analytics tools or platforms in VR.
    Familiarity with XR interaction design and user experience considerations.
    Portfolio showcasing previous VR projects, especially those utilising OpenXR or similar frameworks.

    Stipend:
