    Job Title:
    Consultant -Argus & Japanese (N1/N2)

    SupportCareer Level - C3Introduction to role:

    The Support Analyst has experience performing support and maintenance of applications on Oracle database with interactive communication, demonstrating inclusion and cultural sensitivity.

    The role will partner with the platform team members, business product owners, SMEs to support and development solutions across the R&D IT Safety value stream.


    Accountabilities:

    • Support and maintain the patient safety application (Argus)
    • Coordinate with end users/vendors/support groups in Japanese to resolve issues/implement changes or upgrades
    • Take ownership of end users' issues reported and see problems through to resolution
    • Diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve reported issues/problems
    • Follow good ITIL practices to resolve incidents, problems and implement changes
    • Execute full life-cycle of software development to deliver application enhancements/modules
    • Document knowledge in the form of knowledge articles or by using recommended templates
    • Problem determination, workaround resolution, root cause analysis, major incident management

    Essential Skills/Experience:

    • Japanese N1/N2 Certified Professional
    • Written and verbal communication in Japanese
    • Oracle, SQL, Database concepts
    • Application Support and maintenance experience with Japanese end users

    OVERALL YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
    5+ years of relevant IT experience


    Desirable Skills/Experience:

    • Prior experience of supporting Argus
    • Prior experience of performing a similar role in pharma R&D Safety space
    • Experience of working in a global organisation
    • Pharmaceutical business awareness//business domain knowledge
