    • Resolve complex technical issues and make design decisions to meet the critical requirements of scalable, highly available, multi-tenant services in cloud.
    • Provide growth opportunities and support the career development of your team members responsible for the development and quality deliverables.
    • Leading and mentoring development teams and taking responsibility for sprint and release commitments, impediment resolution and escalations, while ensuring clarity around priorities and goals for the entire functional area
    • Interact with product management, project management and other engineering teams to develop software products which fulfill the requirements generated by the product owner.
    • Provide technical leadership to the team for design, architecture, code reviews and incorporate engineering best practices into feature development, refactoring work and product maintenance.
    • Determine the staffing required for scrum teams to complete assigned tasks. Ensure all assigned personnel receive the training necessary to successfully complete the tasks which are assigned to them.
    • Responsible for hiring of software engineers for agile development teams
    • Mentor and train software engineers to increase overall team technical skillsets and stay current with technology trends
    • Works with team and resolves customer issues as per defined service level agreements
    • University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
    • 10+ years of software development experience in a technical capacity (e.g. Software Developer, Software Engineer in Test).
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
    • Knowledge of agile methods and experience in an agile team required.
    • 3+ years leadership experience and managing engineers is preferred.
    • You have built and managed high performing engineering teams and hired top class engineers.
    • Demonstrated ability to attract/recruit/retain external talent and be a coach and employee champion.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to move and act at the operational and tactical levels when required.
