    Job Description: Trainee Engineer / Junior Engineer / Assistant Engineer

    Department: Engineering Operations

    Designation: Trainee Engineer / Junior Engineer / Assistant Engineer

    Qualifications: BE / ME in Mechanical Engineering

    Experience: 0 to 4 Years

    Annual Salary: 2.5 to 6 lakhs

    Responsibilities:

    • Creation, documentation, maintenance, and support of the following areas:
      SolidWorks design programs and macros.
    • Product design models for DriveWorks - PREFERRED.
    • Program automation capabilities in DriveWorks - PREFERRED.
    • Customer proposal drawing and order drawing from controlled design data.
    • Create manufacturing drawings from controlled design data.
    • Working knowledge of SQL databases.
    • Bill of material configuration for company products.
    • Establishing and implementing efficient and easily maintainable design configuration solutions.
    • Utilize existing data and rules wherever possible.
    • Create and maintain product design models/configurators within DriveWorks - PREFERRED.
    • Automate engineering design processes and integrate into CAD automation and ERP tools.
    • Validation of new configuration models before putting into service.
    • Facilitate DFMEA/PFMEA process during the implementation of new design automation projects.
    • Troubleshoot, validate, and maintain all related programs and applications.
    • Work closely with CAD automation and other engineering systems groups.
    • Work with others towards the integration of Configuration systems with ERP, CAD, and EPDM solutions.
    • Train other departmental employees regarding configuration tools.
    • Address issues, problems, and questions on a day-to-day basis.
    • Support development of scope documents pertaining to Engineering Automation and business solutions.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
    • At least three years of relevant programming experience in configuration software (DriveWorks PREFERRED).
    • Highly proficient in SolidWorks.
    • Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) certification within the last 3 years of the most recent software release - PREFERRED.
    • Excellent visualization and problem-solving skills.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Working knowledge of computer systems, engineering, and drafting systems and procedures.
    • Ability to independently perform assignments with instruction only regarding general expected results.
