Location: Delhi (SANT NAGAR, East of Kailash)

Department: Motor Insurance

We are seeking an experienced Motor Insurance Underwriter & Claims Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for underwriting motor risks and managing claims efficiently while ensuring profitability and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and underwrite motor insurance proposals (private, commercial, and fleet).
• Determine coverage terms, conditions, deductibles, and pricing.
• Issue policies, endorsements, and renewals.
• Handle motor claims from notification to settlement.
• Assess liability, review repair estimates, and negotiate settlements.
• Manage recoveries and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years' experience in motor underwriting and/or claims handling.
• Strong knowledge of motor insurance products and claims processes.
• Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Professional qualification (e.g., CII/ACII) is an advantage.
