DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Supervises the functions of the department employees, facilities, operations and cost on a day- to-day basis.

2. Co-ordinates functions and activities with other department heads as assigned.

3. Monitors and controls, on an on-going basis:

a. Quality levels of product and service

b. Customer satisfaction

c. Merchandising and marketing

d. Operating costs

e. Sanitation, cleanliness and hygiene Upkeep of the entire area under his purview

4. Ensure optimum performance in specific jobs.

5. Assist Asst. Managers in setting targets/ goals for the department, makes constant effort to achieve the same.

6. Minimize transaction time and introduce new techniques of intelligent selling.

7. Makes constant effort to up-grade and maintain the standards of cinema.

8. Conducts under the guidance of the Asst. Manager employee orientation, on the job performance, coaching and disciplinary action if necessary, to ensure appropriate staffing and productivity.

9. Develops formal training plans and conducts on the job-sessions for all employees of cinema.
