    JOB OVERVIEW

    Function Overview

    The GIC Supply Chain team manages end-to-end operations, encompassing planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and analytics. They strategically plan to meet market demands, optimize sourcing, ensure efficient production, and oversee the seamless movement of goods from production to delivery. The team employs advanced analytics throughout these processes, fostering adaptability and operational excellence.     Purpose of the role

    An astute individual contributor with exceptional planning / analytical skills, who can provide various scalable solutions & holistic strategy thereby ensuring effectiveness & efficiency of Material category or Plant. She / he is expected to build replicable and repeatable solutions around processes and practices. This role should drive discovery and execution of newer capability. The incumbent is expected to work in the capacity of an individual contributor in a complex and challenging business environment. This virtual team caters to 30+ plants and several business teams / groups in the US.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    85% of Time- Work collaboratively with stakeholders & plants located in the US.

    Process excellence:

    Develop and execute holistic & scalable solutions around Inbound Supply Chain Process, Analytics, Reporting, Business problems etc.

    · Manage various incoming projects through formal project management approach.

    · Identifying Risk & Mitigation plan for Inbound Logistics and communication to key stakeholders.

    · Identify opportunities and build strategy around the same for Inbound Logistics to drive effectiveness in process.

    · Build Model to Track, Monitor and Publish the performance of Inbound Logistics team.

    · Track and publish the impact of various initiatives/ solutions identified or driven by Inbound Logistics team.

    · Execute Communication & Escalations platforms seamlessly.

    · Ensure quality of output meets the industry benchmark.

    · End to End knowledge & visibility

    Continuous Improvement:

    · Build Architectural solutions through Automation, Standardization, Lean approach etc. for reporting & analysis.

    · Build sustainable and order winning solutions for the problems.

    · Collaborate across with various team to implement defined solutions.

    Lead HMM (Cost savings) initiatives

    · Ensure 100% compliance against the practices i.e. training, documentation and reporting.

    · Review error and deviation log to identify opportunities for improvements.

    · Lead ideation and drive implementation to deliver to site goals.

    · Collaborate with partners to deliver order winning solutions.

    · Develop sustainable tools for the capabilities.

    · Support around Weekly Direction Setting (WDS)

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferred Major Area of Study: Operations / Supply Chain
  • Required Professional Certifications: APICS – CSCP, Six Sigma, PMP
