Core Responsibilities

Enterprise Networks are responsible for managing Sky's data centres, campuses, contact centres and elements of our broadcast network, primarily in the UK and in many locations across the world. As a member of a large team providing continued support to sky's critical business and customer facing systems your roles and responsibilities will include :

• Triage of network incidents
• Network monitoring and analysis
• Provision of effective and efficient support to the infrastructure services
• Building relationships with all technology teams
• Collaborative troubleshooting with support teams from across Sky
• Interaction with Change Management for Planned works
• Testing; Operational Readiness, Service Migration and Failover
• Adherence to support processes and procedures

Employees at all levels are expected to:

To be successful in this role the candidate requires a minimum of 3 years experience in working with network technologies and be qualified to Cisco CCNA level as a minimum, Cisco CCNP desirable. The candidate should have experience of the following –

• Routing/switching infrastructure with Cisco IOS and Cisco NX-OS knowledge preferred, Cisco ACI and Arista knowledge desirable.
• Load balancing infrastructure, F5 networks knowledge preferred.
• Firewall infrastructure, Cisco ASA and Palo Alto networks knowledge preferred.
• Network Management platform experience with Solarwinds knowledge preferred, SevOne, Cisco Prime and Cisco DNA knowledge desirable.
• Scripting and automation skills desirable.
