    Role Summary

    This is a full-time remote position. Seeking a Technical Product Owner (TPO) to lead our company's highest-impact, largest-scale delivery programs. Responsibilities include collection of business and systems requirements from internal and external customers, writing specifications, driving project schedules from design to release, and managing production launches and/or releases. Our team drives complex business problems, leveraging both company-wide platform solutions and designing them from the ground up where they do not exist.

    Role Responsibilities

    Product Ownership:

    • Streamlines' values of Connect, Communicate, and Collaborate in all interactions with colleagues and clients/customers with clarity and integrity, including navigating complex decision-making situations.
    • with Agile teams and stakeholders to write user stories and requirements that include clear acceptance criteria.
    • maintain and prioritize a backlog for iteration/sprint planning, including coordination of dependencies with other product owners and stakeholders.

    Manage the product backlog, including prioritizing user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensuring it reflects business needs.

    Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., customers, business analysts) to understand their needs and translate them into actionable product requirements.

    Lead and maintain the efficient flow of user story refinement activities throughout team execution.

    Own the product vision and effectively communicate it to the Scrum team and stakeholders.

    Participate in team demo with the primary responsibility of reviewing and accepting completed user stories. This includes validation that stories meet the acceptance criteria and the team's Definition of Done (DoD).

    Estimate the effort required for backlog items and user stories.

    Translate user stories and product requirements into technical specifications that the development team can understand and implement.

    Stay up to date on the latest technologies relevant to the product domain.

    Scrum Facilitation:

    Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (e.g., Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospective and Grooming Sessions).

    Ensure the team adheres to Scrum principles and practices.

    Coach and mentor the Scrum team to improve their agility and effectiveness.

    Participate in the iteration/sprint retrospective, where teams gather to improve their processes. Where applicable, actively support the Agile Release Train's (ART's) Inspect and Adapt (I&A) workshop.

    Remove impediments that hinder the team's progress.

    Technical Expertise:

    Bridge the gap between business and development by possessing a strong understanding of both.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    • Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (or equivalent experience).
