    Description

    Requirement: - Product design Engineer (5-7 years relevant exp. in Mechanisms Airvent design)

    Educational Qualification: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Automotive with Above 60% academic score no backlogs or year down.

    Desired profile/Job description

    Responsible for detail product design according to standards and guidelines.

    Translate defined product design performance criteria in CAD data & specifications.

    In depth knowledge in areas of Mechanism parts like Air vents, cupholders, armrest etc.

    For his perimeter, define technical solutions and CAD data (2D & 3D) using standard CAD methodology.

    RPS, Concept design, Master sections

    Tolerance stack, GD&T (including KC for internal and customer needs)

    To be able to manage the internal team along with Cross functional communication.

    Conduct weekly design reviews with team and management

    Maintain team level Open Issue List and discuss with PM & customer for open points

    Customer constraints and specifications, CAE implementations.

    Applicable regulations and legislation.

    Ensure process feasibility of the product design and A-Surfaces

    Ensure overall Product Design Performance considering Customer specifications, regulations, and legislations.

    At the end of a program, make Lessons learned applicable to improve Design & support the programme post TKO till SOP+3months.

    Skills and competencies

    Thorough /knowledge in program specific CAD software Catia & UG.

    Thorough experience in designing in required domain, i.e. Automotive Mechanisms & Interiors.

    Good knowledge of CAD Methodology, Kinematics, and tooling knowledge.

    Knowledge of assigned program timing and deliverables at each milestone

    Knowledge of program standards, tools, and methods like Tolerance stack, DFMEA, CAE

    Problem solving techniques.

    Strategic and analytical capabilities.

    Electromechanical skills will be added advantage.
