    Job Summary:

    The ideal candidate will be tasked with auditing loans underwritten by credit officers to ensure compliance with bank policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

    Responsibilities include meticulously reviewing loan applications, assessing documentation accuracy, verifying adherence to established lending criteria, and identifying any deviations or discrepancies.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Must have experience in analysis of customers current financial position, employment history, credit history, credit needs, ability to pay, and the asset being offered as security.
    2. Well-versed with the 4 C's of Credit.
    3. Extensive skill to adhere to regulatory and company guidelines and should be able to understand complex-subject matters quickly.
    4. Experience in assessing the credit risk associated with each loan application and providing an outcome regarding Approval/decline of the loan application.
    5. Experience in lending/credit policy, product, and Mortgage Insurance guidelines, and a high level of judgement, in assessing applicant's credit worthiness.
    6. Experience in reaching out to external stakeholders via calls with Brokers/Lenders.
    7. Expertise in customer-centric communication with positive reputation building.
    8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Qualification & Experience:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in any field.
    • 2+ years of experience in Pre-underwriting, Loan Processing, Mortgage Underwriting, or Post Close Underwriting in Australian Mortgage, USA, & UK mortgage domain.
    • Proven work experience as a Mortgage Underwriter or similar role
    • Strong understanding of Australia, USA, or UK lending regulations is essential for this role.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
    • Familiarity with loan origination systems and other relevant software applications.
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
