Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, or a related field
• 4 to 6 years of experience in fabric merchandising or textile manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of different types of fabrics and their properties
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability
• Proficiency in MS Office and fabric management software
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team

Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate with clients to understand their fabric requirements and specifications
• Source and procure fabric materials from reliable suppliers
• Negotiate prices, contract terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
• Ensure the quality and timely delivery of fabric materials
• Collaborate with the production team to plan and prioritize fabric production
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records of fabric stock
• Coordinate with logistics and shipping partners for efficient delivery
• Resolve any fabric-related issues or complaints from clients
• Stay updated with the latest fabric trends and market demands
