Overall 10+ years of experience into IT infrastructure and out of which at least 3-4 years of experience as a cloud solution architect with hands on experience on cloud platform specifically AWSExpertise with provisioning infrastructure on the AWS Cloud, manual and automated with CloudFormation/TerraformStrong understanding of key infrastructure components like Compute, Networking, Storage.

Should have done application & Database Migration strategies and DR strategiesExperience with AWS well-architected frameworkShould be Familiar with the Databricks Platform on AWSEnhance existing security frameworks and wherever needed design new frameworks in Cloud infrastructure based on security standards, governance, and control best practices and in compliance with industry/ Regulatory guidelinesSetting up authentication & authorization protocols for all applications residing on CloudDevelop frameworks to support compliance audits and report metrics of ongoing activities and security incidentsEvaluate or create new services for solve complex security issuesPractical experience into Data Engineering and understand nuances of moving data from different sources to Redshift.

Strong knowledge on AWS environment and services like VPC, EC2, API Gateway, ELB, KMS, CloudWatch, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda etc.
Knowledge of AWS Data & Analytics services like S3, Athena, Glue, Kinesis, EMR etc.– Good to have.
Experience working with Jenkins/CircleCI, Git and Other CI/CD tools and pipelines

Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead the design of critical path/technology initiatives and provide thought leadership.

Study existing technology landscape and understand current application workloads and define Migration strategy to move applications and data to cloudDesign the overall VPC environment including subnets, security groups, server instances, storage instances, availability zones etc.

Design the AWS network architecture including VPN connectivity between regions and subnetsDesigns, develops, documents, tests, and debugs new and existing configuration management (Terraform) infrastructure as code.

Design the HA / DR strategiesDocumenting operational and security standards.

Work closely with other stakeholders and design optimal database/storage platform, analyzing complex distributed production deployments, and making recommendations to optimize performanceEvaluate AWS Cloud services and architecture for compliance with regulatory guidelines and perform risk assessment, threat modelling to identify & remediate vulnerabilitiesSetup data storage & archival policies, encryption & data masking policies (at-rest and in transit)Detect & mitigate fraud on AWS accounts.

Create Roles, Policies, and Assign to IAM Users and Entities.
