Overview The JAVA Developer role is critical for the success of our software development team, responsible for designing and implementing robust Java applications that meet the needs of our clients and business partners. Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and test Java applications using Java 8, 10, and 11.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Debug and resolve technical issues across the development lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge.
- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs for various applications.
- Work with database technologies to design and implement SQL database queries.
- Utilize the Spring Framework for building scalable web applications.
- Design microservices architecture and implement solutions accordingly.
- Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure code correctness.
- Maintain and enhance existing software applications.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Document development processes, code changes, and other technical information.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline release processes and deployment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of extensive experience in Java development.
- Strong proficiency in Java 8, 10, and 11.
- Experience with the Spring Framework and related technologies.
- Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Proficiency in SQL databases and query optimization.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is a plus.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit or TestNG.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development life cycle.
- Experience with version control systems, primarily Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and tools as required.
