Job Description:
The IT Security Penetration Tester will be responsible for conducting security assessments and penetration testing of our organization's IT infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and potential security threats.
This includes performing technical security assessments of systems and applications, analyzing network configurations and architecture, and testing security controls and countermeasures.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting penetration testing of IT infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and potential security threatsReviewing existing IT security controls and assessing gaps in coverageProviding recommendations and solutions to mitigate identified security risksDeveloping and maintaining security assessment methodologies and proceduresKeeping up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends and applying this knowledge to security assessmentsCommunicating findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders, including IT teams, management, and clientsAssisting with the development of security policies and proceduresCollaborating with other IT teams to implement security solutions and best practicesMinimum Qualification and ExperienceEducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldLanguageFluent in English, both written and spokenWork Experience3-5 years of experience in IT security and penetration testingHard Skills
Must Have:
Knowledge of security testing tools and techniques, including vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and threat modelingStrong understanding of network security concepts and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and encryptionExperience with application security testing and web application security conceptsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholdersNice to HaveRelevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are preferred.
