    Description

    Job Title: Senior Accounts Manager

    Reports to: Director of Finance or Chief Financial Officer

    Job Purpose:

    The Senior Accounts Manager is responsible for managing the accounting and financial operations of the company. They will provide guidance and leadership to the accounting team, ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, and develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Oversee the accounting and financial operations of the company, including managing the accounting team and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
    2. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
    3. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to the senior management team and the board of directors.
    4. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
    5. Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, including developing and monitoring budgets, variance analysis, and forecasting future financial performance.
    6. Provide guidance and training to the accounting team on accounting principles, policies, and procedures, and oversee their professional development.
    7. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial analysis and support for strategic decision making.
    8. Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and recommend Qualifications.
    9. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, company policies.

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    2. 5-10 years of experience in accounting and finance.
    3. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
    4. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    5. Demonstrated success in managing and developing teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    6. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    7. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks. Proficiency in accounting so aware, such as QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
