Role summary
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to assess software quality through Automation and Manual testing for Android,iOS and backend. You will work closely with our development team to identify and report issues, verify bug fixes, and contribute to the overall improvement of our products. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches in the app. In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the creation of test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
Execute test cases manually to identify defects,inconsistencies,and usability issues in software applications.
Experience in different testing techniques and methodologies for API, Web, Mobile Apps(Android/ iOS).
Experience in setting up automation testing infrastructure & writing automation testing scripts for Android, iOS.
Execute all the test cases and report defects, defining the severity and priority for each defect.
Carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code to fix defects.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development process
Extensive experience in SDLC, STLC, Analysis, Design, Software QA Processes, exposed to entire software testing (V model) and Defect Cycle.
Good knowledge of testing the frontend and backend.
Very good at debugging skills and problem solving.
Good to have basic knowledge in Backend automation for APIs .
Experience in any programming and scripting language i.e. Java, Shell, Perl, Python, Ruby.
Experience with SQL queries.
Should be able to work as an Individual Contributor for better QA practices, Automation of routine tasks.
Experience in Defect tracking tool JIRA (or similar) bug life cycle management tool.
Must have good communication skills and should be a good team player.
Worked on Tools - Postman, Android Studio, Adb , XCode.
Key Requirements
Relevant experience of 2 to 3 years.
Skill set - Automation Testing, Mobile Application, Android, IOS, API Testing, Automation QA, bug tracking tool
Work experience with Automation framework
Worked on CI/CD tools
