    Instructional Designer- Pre Primary

    Job responsibilities:

    • Work with Vice President – Academics in managing the publishing plan for the department
    • Manage the products and publishing portfolio for the Foundational Stage
    • Create engaging teacher resources (including but not limiting to lesson plans, academic planner, TLMs) for successful implementation of Foundational Stage curriculum
    • Responsible for product strategy for Foundational Stage in response to market needs
    • Work with AM – Foundational Stage and effectively deliver the best quality print and/or digital product(s) within agreed timeline
    • Design and deliver great user experiences: manage, monitor and improve the user experience for digital content and product(s).
    • Collaborate and work with DGM – Assessments and Curriculum Support, AGM – School Support, AGM – Training to support the schools with required training, additional support material, and assessments for Foundational Stage.
    • Plan, develop, prioritize, implement, and oversee the processes ensuring that products / solutions are published / released within set deadlines, as per scope, according to budget and are of the highest quality.

    Requirements:

    • Desirable to have a master's degree in any academic subject.
    • Desirable to have qualification on early childhood care and education. Knowledge of early childhood international curricula like IEYC or Cambridge Early Years will be an added advantage.
    • Mix of language proficiency (verbal and written), deep pedagogical understanding (including play-based pedagogy), brain development (neuroscience), subject specialization and business acumen.
    • 8 years of work experience; of which at least 5 years of relevant experience.
    • Possess strong working knowledge and understanding of National Education Policy 2020 and National Curriculum Framework – Foundational Stage 2022.
    • Desirable to have experience in Instructional Design.
    • Ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders such as school principals, authors, illustrators, trainers, teachers, and other solution providers.
    • Organized and process driven, and ability to work across timelines and cross-functional teams.
    • Team / Stakeholder management and interpersonal skills to lead, inspire collaboration and empower team.
    • Have strong project management skills.
