    JOB OVERVIEW

    This position will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing out projects. As the project manager (PM), he/she will be primarily involved in managing various digital form projects that are implemented across Tech stack.

    S/he will lead a team of SME's project managers to define and execute the governance around the above topics as well as ensure the day to day project management of IT projects.

    ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Experience in leading, monitoring, and maintaining project plan progress to ensure delivery of the critical stages and goals within the agreed time, cost, and quality constraints.

    2. Experience in managing customer expectations and closely monitoring for scope creep. Managing the agreed scope of the project to ensure that Change Requests are clearly called out, approved, and impacted against a timeline.

    3. Experience in Controlling and Reporting progress to the Steering Group/Sponsor and internally within the Project Team and escalating any issues, as appropriate, in a timely manner. Initiating corrective action where necessary to keep the project on track. Continually assess potential risks and issues and maintain risk and issue logs and contingency plans.

    4. Experience in PMI or Agile Project Management Methodology to track issues & bugs for greater value addition & customer delight

    5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

    6. Be a liaison between Internal teams and teams from partners to deliver work successfully

    7. Manage relationship with stakeholders, internal and external, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and issues, manage expectations and stakeholder's satisfaction on all project requirements to enable positive customer reference and success story.

    8. Communicate a clear vision of the project's objectives and motivate the project team to achieve them; create a project environment that enables peak performance by team members.

    9. Ensure proper use of methodology, tools, procedures and governance to best meet project objectives

    10. Proactively identify changes in work scope and ensure appropriate planning measures are taken with stakeholders to reassess and amend the scope of work, budget and timeline.

    11. Manage the financial aspects of the project: budgeting and estimate to actual variance.

    12. Analyze risk, establish contingency plans and identify trigger events for risk mitigating action.

    13. Escalate issues early about the project to account management or delivery management.

    14. Mentor project teams to ensure implementation of enterprise project management methodology, standards and processes.

    Necessary Skills and Experience

    · Experience in managing and enhancing Business-IT relationship and governance

    · Hands-on project management experience managing SaaS projects with a focus on ERP Modernization(Oracle, SAP, Infor , Team center PLM)

    · Introducing modern engineering practices aimed at increasing velocity, such as Product management, Agile, CI/CD.

    · Financial analysis skills

    · Experience in managing and enhancing Business-IT relationship and governance

    · Hands-on project management experience managing SaaS projects with a focus on ERP Modernization(Oracle, SAP, Infor , Team center PLM)

    · Introducing modern engineering practices aimed at increasing velocity, such as Product management, Agile, CI/CD.

    · Financial analysis skills

    · Extensive experience in stakeholder management

    · Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.

    · Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.

    · Ideal to have experience of working with a B2B Organization focused on Industrial products and preferably (not mandatory) in multi-product / multi business unit context

    • Proficiency with project management methodologies and tools
    • Good understanding and experience in both traditional and Agile project management methodologies
    • A clear vision of what determines a successful project for the customer and for the enterprise.
    • Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change.
    • Ability to negotiate consensus amongst diverse groups even outside the reporting structure.
    • Conceptual analytical thinking and decision-making skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to work well with people from different disciplines; effective communication with senior management, clients, peers, and team members.

    Governance and Communication:

    • Contributes towards defining and Implementing Governance framework to have a structured approach to govern the PMO initiatives.
    • Manage a central repository of the project artifacts like project scope, schedules etc.
    • Monitors and reports on the progress of all program / project activities within the project including significant milestones and any conditions which would affect project cost or schedule.
    • Develop and execute an efficient communication strategy for ensuring communication with all levels of management and working group, within and across cross-functional teams. Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication.

    JOB SPECIFICATIONS

    · Essential Qualification: Graduate (preferably in Computer Science or IT) / Post graduate (preferably MBA)

    · Desirable Qualification: PMP certification, Agile- Scrum Master Certification, ITIL certification, Product Management Certification, Design Thinking Certification

    · At least 10 Years of experience in IT Project Management

    · Program leadership skills – leading a team to meet business and digital goals.

    Ability to adapt to a complex IT landscape and keep pace with latest technologies
