Nestled on the beautiful cliffs of South Goa, our hotel restaurant is currently looking for an experienced Senior Captain to lead our service team and elevate our dining service to new heights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant floor, ensuring a seamless and outstanding dining experience for all guests.
• Train and mentor staff on excellent service standards, menu knowledge, and handling of special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to maximise guest satisfaction and restaurant capacity.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely preparation and service of dishes and beverages.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and poise.
• Maintain an inventory of dining supplies and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely restocking.
• Uphold and enhance the restaurant's standards for quality and cleanliness.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a leadership role within a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel dining setting.
• Strong understanding of various dining room and customer service protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Knowledge of different types of cuisine, particularly those that align with our local and international menu offerings.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
