    Purpose of the roleWe have an exciting opportunity at a Staff+ level to provide strategic technical leadership, help establish a scalable, secure & efficient platform foundation, and deliver on key initiatives as part of our Salesforce Platform team.

    It is a Principal Technical Architect I role. This role will provide technical thought leadership for the Salesforce Core CRM platform (i.e. Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.).

    This role will drive the Salesforce Core CRM platform architecture strategy for General Mills by partnering with the newly forming central platform team and product & project teams to understand business needs, assess the current Salesforce state and design the target state Salesforce solutions that meet needs while driving clarity, enabling enterprise agility, and mitigating risk.

    This role will provide technical guidance & mentorship to 6-8 Salesforce Core CRM engineers, lead holistic Salesforce CRM platform (i.e. Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, etc.) modernization, optimization, and DevSecOps strategies, roadmap & opportunities, and provide hands on delivery leadership in partnership with agile product & project teams.

    • Lead in different initiatives (Knowledge sharing, Reading Groups, Salesforce CRM Community, etc.)MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
    • 15+ years of experience on complex IT projects. 7+ years leading complex Salesforce
    • Core Cloud IT projects through solutioning, design and architecture
    • Profound expertise in designing, developing, and managing solutions within Salesforce Core Clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Consumer Goods Cloud, Platform, Experience Cloud), and Core Cloud addons (CRM Analytics, CPQ). This expertise should also extend to managing integrations with Salesforce Marketing products, App exchange products, and other platforms.
    • Prior successful hands-on experience executing configuration, code (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura Components Flow, Visualforce, etc.), and integrations within Salesforce Core CRM products
    • Prior successful hands-on experience executing configuration & code with Experience Cloud (CSS, HTML, Java Script, XML)
    • Strong technical vision & approach to drive scalability & efficiency with global & open mindset
    • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD and Cyber Security
