Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Software Tester with expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications, specifically those built on the AEM platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct testing activities for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) projects, encompassing functional, regression, and integration testing.
Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure extensive coverage of AEM functionalities.
Execute test cases manually and/or leverage automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit) to validate software quality and identify defects.
Collaborate closely with the development team to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with testing efforts.
Participate in requirement analysis and review meetings, providing input on testability and quality aspects of AEM projects.
Perform root cause analysis of identified defects and work collaboratively with developers to resolve issues promptly.
Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks for AEM projects to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Define the test strategy and approach for AEM delivery projects, owning all stages of the testing lifecycle.
Document and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status.
Collect and analyze data for software process evaluation, integrating findings into business processes to address needs.
Own manual functional testing, ensuring the creation, documentation, and maintenance of tests for existing and new AEM functionality.
Provide support for production launches, authoring, and validating on publishers and dispatchers in AEM.Work closely with the team to coordinate test efforts, analyze reported bugs, and consolidate test status.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience of 3-5 years in software testing, with specific expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) projects.
Strong understanding of AEM architecture, components, and functionalities.
Hands-on experience in designing and executing test cases for AEM applications.
Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar automation frameworks.
Good knowledge of Agile methodologies, Jira, and manual testing.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
Knowledge of automation using Java-Selenium and building test automation pipelines using CI-CD tools like Jenkins is an added advantage.
