    Description

    Type:

    · Yearly performance review-based renewal of employment contract, subject to a 3-month probation period in the beginning.

    Salary:

    · Based on experience, passion, and knowledge: Between 3 to 4 LPA

    Qualification:

    · Bachelors degree in Environmental Studies, Social Entrepreneurship, Social Work, or similar relevant fields.

    · Computer Literacy: Proficient in working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet-based communication tools.

    · Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.

    Work Experience:

    · 2-3 years of work experience in the field of Environment, waste management, climate change.

    · Experience in Fundraising.

    · Experience in program implementations.

    Desired Competencies:

    · Problem-solving attitude, willingness to learn, willingness to travel PAN India as when required, and communicate freely.

    · Enjoys working under pressure. Self-motivated and a good team player.

    · Strong alignment with Vikalp Foundation's mission of driving Equity, Inclusion, and Social Justice in the Waste ecosystems in India.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Conceptualize and ideate on effective programs.
    • Initiate, plan, and oversee the progress of the program.
    • Facilitate the processes of monitoring and evaluating independently.
    • Community mobilisation
    • Documentation.
    • Organise meetings, webinars, seminars, etc.

    · Manage the preparation of presentations, annual reports, donor reports, and overall impact reporting.

    • Network with different stakeholders, both government and non-government.

    · Identify and secure grants and/or donations from funding organizations,

    government or non-government bodies, CSR wings of corporate firms.

    · Develop proposals, concept notes, presentations, and any other material required

    in securing the above grants

    • Systematically coordinate submissions and address risks associated with proposals.
    • Ensure the quality of proposals by writing, revising, and editing drafts.
    • Ability to understand the needs of both the agency in need of funding and the organization offering the grant money.
