Role Description

There are two full-time on-site positions for Doctoral Student with Dr. Kamlesh Jangid at Agharkar Research Institute. The Doctoral Student will be responsible for conducting research in microbial genomics, genome mining, taxonomy, diversity, bioinformatics and bioprospecting. The stduent shall be collecting and analyzing data, performing experiments, and present findings. The role will involve collaborating with research teams, attending scientific conferences, and writing research papers. Qualifications

• Qualified JRF (CSIR, UGC, DBT, Inspire)
• Strong background in microbiology and keen interest in bioinformatics
• Experience in conducting scientific research and data analysis
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques and experimental design
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a research team
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow research protocols
• Master's degree in a relevant field is required
• Prior experience in publishing research papers is a plus
