About Position:

This role is designed for a Linux Administrator with strong Shell/Bash scripting skills, focused on automating and optimizing system operations.

What You'll Do:

• Manage, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.).
• Develop and maintain Shell/Bash scripts to automate routine system tasks.
• Design, implement, and manage automation workflows using Ansible.
• Create Python scripts for process automation, data handling, and system integrations.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure minimal downtime.
• Perform system upgrades, patching, and security hardening activities.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and system-level access controls.
• Configure services such as Apache/Nginx, DNS, DHCP, FTP, SSH, and others as required.
• Work closely with DevOps, Cloud, and Development teams to support deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure adherence to security policies, compliance standards, and operational best practices.
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux OS administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Proficiency in Shell/Bash scripting for automation and system tasks.
• Solid experience using Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Ability to develop modular and reusable Python scripts.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewall rules).
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and optimization skills.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus) is a plus.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Strong hands-on experience in Linux server administration across RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu environments.
• Proven ability to write efficient and reusable Shell/Bash scripts for automation of routine operational tasks.
• Practical experience in Ansible for configuration management, provisioning, and orchestration of infrastructure.
• Good understanding of Python for automation, tool development, and system integrations.
• Expertise in troubleshooting system, network, and performance issues in production environments.
• Familiarity with system services such as Apache/Nginx, SSH, DNS, FTP, DHCP, and log management.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, firewall rules).
• Experience using version control systems like Git.
• Ability to work collaboratively with DevOps, Cloud, and Engineering teams to support deployments and configurations.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to system reliability and optimization.
