    Description

    As a Business Data Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and availability of data across designated regions. Your responsibilities will encompass coordinating data aggregation and collection efforts, collaborating with regional teams, and serving as a liaison between business requirements, IT, and data functions.

    Your expertise will encompass data auditing, cleansing, and analysis, coupled with proficiency in at least one data solution development area such as data quality management, governance, or analysis. You'll demonstrate familiarity with various data types including products, sales, sourcing, and images, along with experience with systems of records like SAP, SAP MDG, ContentHub, or similar platforms. Knowledge of Collibra solutions will be advantageous.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Interpreting Business Needs:

    Conduct stakeholder mapping across geographies and systems.

    Facilitate mass uploads of visual assets with relevant metadata incorporation.

    Identify and address data gaps in coordination with stakeholders.

    2. Data Integrity and Management:

    Perform regular data quality checks and initiate escalation processes if criteria aren't met.

    Identify data gaps, propose improvement strategies, and collaborate with stakeholders.

    Support user feedback loops and resolve flagged data issues.

    Apply data management and governance practices for consistent data input.

    Collaborate with IT and data leads to automate processes like data quality checks and cataloging.

    Validate data against functional and business-level requirements.

    Support ongoing governance and review of data within platform solutions.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum of 5 years' experience in data-focused roles, preferably in data quality management, governance, or analysis.

    Exposure to diverse technologies and processing environments is advantageous.

    Basic understanding of strategic data trends and their practical applications.

    Familiarity with product management, agile principles, and development methodologies.

    Experience delivering presentations to varied audiences.

    Proficiency in any language is desired.

    Experience in data architecture strategy development is a plus.

    Certification in data-centric disciplines such as CDMP or DGSP is advantageous.
