    Description

    Important responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Prepare comprehensive Common Technical Document (CTD) dossiers in compliance with international regulations and marketing
  • Study / analysis of inventions to determine patentability, Conduct Invalidity and Freedom to Operate searches
  • Prepare robust search strategies to search and identify relevant patent and scientific literature in a given technology domain, and subsequent analysis.
  • Analysis of a portfolio of patents / patent applications in a given technology domain
  • Critical analysis of patents and products to determine potential infringement and licensing opportunities.
  • Track / monitor published patent applications and issued patents throughout their life cycle.
  • Identify key features of a product / technology and map these features on to patented subject matter to determine freedom to operate.
  • Identify and report innovations in a specific technology domain through analysis of patent, product, and academic literature.
  • Assessment of commercial potential of new technologies vis-Ã -vis existing technologies and market players
  • Prepare research reports to be shared with scientists / R&D Managers / technical personnel of the client organization etc

  • Thorough knowledge in field of technical specialization
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to challenge current thinking by implementing new ways of working
  • Ability to ensure that tasks within areas of responsibility are completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ability to identify and adopt proactive ways to contribute to firm's goals & mission
  • Well versed in MS Office (knowledge of VBA / Macros will be a plus).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Quick learner with capability to multi-task
  • Drive to achieve targets and accomplish challenging tasks efficiently etc.
  • Masters (M. Pharma/ M.S/ M.Tech.) in Biotechnology
  • 3-5 years of work experience in the field of Intellectual Property
