JobSummary:

We are seeking an AssistantResort Manager to oversee both housekeeping and maintenanceoperations at our esteemed resort. The ideal candidate will possessa keen eye for detail exceptional organizational skills and apassion for ensuring the upkeep and cleanliness of all resortsareas. As the Assistant Resort Manager for Housekeeping &Maintenance you will play a crucial role in maintaining the overallappearance and functionality of our resort ensuring guestsatisfaction and comfort.

Responsibilities:

1.Housekeeping:

Supervise housekeeping staff to ensure thecleanliness and upkeep of all guest rooms and indoor areasincluding the lobby reception area common washrooms dining andkitchen.

Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas toensure cleanliness and maintenance standards aremet.

Coordinate with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are prepared andutilities are wellmaintained for guestcheckin.

2.Maintenance:

Oversee the maintenance of all indoor and outdoorareas including common utilities pathways gardens bonfire areas andparking facilities.

Coordinate with maintenance staff to address anyrepairs or issues related to plumbing electrical systems and otherutilities.

Ensure the availability of cleaning materials and supplies for bothhousekeeping and maintenanceoperations.

3. GuestSatisfaction:

Respond promptly to guest complaints or concernsrelated to cleanliness maintenance or roomutilities.

Work collaboratively with other departments to anticipate andfulfill guest needs and requests.

4. Safety andCompliance:

Ensure compliance with health safety and sanitation regulations inall housekeeping and maintenanceactivities.

Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions for staffto maintain a safe and secure environment for guests andemployees.

5. Budget and InventoryManagement:

Assist in budget preparation and expense management for bothhousekeeping and maintenancedepartments.

Monitor inventory levels of cleaning materialssupplies and maintenance equipment and coordinate procurement asneeded.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a supervisoryrole within the hospitality industry with a focus on bothhousekeeping and maintenanceoperations.

Strong leadership andcommunication skills with the ability to effectively manage adiverse team and collaborate with otherdepartments.

Knowledge of healthsafety and sanitation regulations andprotocols.

Familiarity withmaintenance procedures and basic repair techniques for plumbingelectrical and HVAC systems.

Proficiency in basic computer applications and property managementsystems.

PreferredQualifications:

Bachelors degree in HospitalityManagement or related field.

Certification in housekeeping management maintenance or relatedareas.

Experience working in a resortor hotel environment with a focus on guest satisfaction and qualityservice delivery.
